About Bike Hub Mount Roskill
A community project
Bike Hub Mt Roskill is here to help you get on your bike, offering basic bike repairs, refurbished bike sales, advice, training, and more. It is a not-for-profit community project staffed by professionals and volunteers.
Advantages of cycling
Riding a bike has many advantages. Bike Hub Mt Roskill is committed to promoting cycling as affordable low carbon transport with recognised health benefits. We believe in empowering people through cycling.
Donate a bike, or buy a used one
Bike Hub Mt Roskill is not a bike shop. Committed to waste mitigation, we accept donated bikes that our staff and volunteers then refurbish in order to provide bicycles to the community at affordable prices. If you receive a bike from us, you know it’s been serviced and is safe. And we can help find a bike that’s right for you.
Repairs
If your bike is not working well, stop by for basic repairs and advice. We can assess if it is road-worthy and do basic repairs. We use new and used parts, with a small fee for new parts. We can also show you how to fix things yourself.
Training and advice
Bike Hub Mt Roskill runs workshops and events to get you riding a bike, no matter your skill and experience. Our staff and volunteers can answer your questions – from bike maintenance to Auckland’s cycling network and more.
Volunteer
If you like fixing bikes, you can volunteer to help out too.
Come along and we can show you how to repair and refurbish donated bikes.
